I’ve been told that babouches are hot right now. So, so hot. They’ve been written up in Vogue, and the New York Times is of the opinion you will get photographed in these shoes at a festival this summer.

Babouches are slippers, Moroccan slippers. They’re pretty cute. Some big brands sell them for $700.  We sell them for considerably less, and they’re just as cool. We had them made in the medina of Marrakesh by a very nice young man who is passionate about leather. We think the babouche he makes are as chic as Céline’s, but that’s just, like, my opinion, man.

Our babouche are flying off the shelves. Made in Marrakesh, available now at Mellah in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
